Why was i banned if told? 'you've pvped 3 ppl without asking them if they wanna pvp, cya'

Tell you my side of the story? before, i didnt know that u had to actually ask them, i thought when they had pvp toggled ON, they AGREED to pvp, so i went and pvped whoever had it on.. since now the server changed and the rules turned to the thing i thought it was before, and now when they have pvp toggled on u can pvp them, I think i should get unbanned.
